Mission "Meet Alison" successfully completed!

On Wednesday, Alexander met Alison! Before heading over to Seattle, Alex did his first craft project and made a Christmas ornament. Then, we headed over to Grandpa Frank's and Liz's house, and met Mommy's "old" friend Alison. Alex was all smiles and giggles and loved snuggling with everyone. After a quick snack, he took a short nap during lunch, and woke up energized to hang out with us... and his buddy Drew and Erin when they came over. The boys now actually look at each other and it's so fun to see them interacting. They decided to pose with a girlfriend on Grandpa Frank's couch, and then with the beautiful Alison and Erin.

Alison gave us a very cool baby cookbook... and we're going to make some tasty treats from it this next week. YUM! And Grandpa Frank gave Alex the coolest Monkey rug/stuffed animal/mat.
Sooooo sweet! We had a blast spending time with everyone... and are happy that they get to have a special Christmas together with their entire family coming to town. FUN!

Our original plan was to head over to The
J's during 'traffic time', but we decided to head home earlier and try to beat the rush hour. Ooops. By the time we got gas, we hit it right in the middle of Tacoma. So we pulled over and got a dipped DQ cone for Alex and had dinner. After that, it was smooth sailing home and we got home around 9:30 pm.

At the moment, Steve's feeding our little monkey and I'm curled up in bed with Titus. The boys are watching the sunrise and I'm all cozy... getting ready to take Alex to go see Jen (who he hasn't seen in 4 months!)
