Our outing this morning was to the wonderful world of Target. It was absolutely pouring and super windy! We drove over to the new store by the airport... and Alex made a quick jump from the car into a wet shopping cart... he used the blue fleece blanket as a rain cover while I raced in the red doors. Since he took up so much cart space that saved us some money! It's WAY too easy to grab things in Target that we don't need... Alex did get out of there with a new shirt & managed to sneak Sting's new album in the cart for us. I guess he figures that we deserve a new CD since we listen to so much of his music. Nice kid!
When we returned home, there was a package for Alex from Drew's Grana Frana... a darling tshirt! Thanks Fran! XO
Today while Alex played in his exersaucer, I actually baked something. If you'd asked me if I'd bake a few months ago I would have said no way! With diaper changes, feedings, laundry, and all that comes along with this journey, it once seemed impossible. Now, we're into a routine and each day gets smoother. Of course as I write that, Titus starts to bark at Steve to take him out... which wakes up monkey. I think I'll let him babble to himself and let the nap genie hopefully return him to the land of nod.
Timer's about to beep... mmmmmm banana bread and muffins for Steve!
