Today Uncle Jon left to go back home... but we'll see him next week for Christmas. Today when Jon left Alex tried to wave goodbye with my help and smiled at Jon. Someday he'll be waving on his own. So crazy to think that! So much to learn for Alex.
We loved having Jon visit us and he is sooooo super fantastic with Alex. After all the excitement this week, Alex took a long nap today... with his wonderful mother of course! Lately I've been pulling Alex into bed with me to catch more z's... and it's working so far. Maybe it's a bad thing? For now, it's working and his naps stretch from 30 minutes to sometimes an hour and a half. Nice! We took the shot above to say "good morning" to Daddy in Florida.
Tonight we take a midnight journey to the airport to get Steve... and I'm thinking we'll go in versus waiting in the car. We shall see if Alex sleeps or people watches with his Mommy!
