Last night was a hollering extravaganza for Alex. Seeing how he skipped his nap time in the afternoon, I decided to help him sleep in this morning by feeding him around 6 a.m. and then taking him back into bed with me and Titus. There, we snoozed for another 2+ hours and finally started our day around nine o'clock. Uncle Jon slept downstairs while we got ready for our lunch adventure with Tommy O.
Tommy O's is actually a restaurant over in Vancouver... tasty coconut macadamia nut halibut, ahi poke, and calamari. Alexander has been there a few times 1) a couple times with Gramma 2) with Grandma Elle and Jalaine 3) with his amazingly wonderful parents, and now 4) with Uncle Jon! Alex sat in his car seat, on top of an upside down high chair. The only thing he didn't like was when I took him in the bathroom to change him. There was a chilly breeze coming from the back of the changing table (spooky!) We did a super speedy change and then he was a ton happier! He asked us to stop by Dairy Queen on the way home, so Jon and I fulfilled his request and each ate dipped cones as we drove back home. Anything to make you happy Alexander!
