This morning Titus snuck under the fence up by the firepit, and ran away to explore. It's been many months since he's left our property... and Daddy drove around looking for him right away. I whistled while you played on the floor, and eventually we heard a back up by the pit. It was Titus. He kept barking and barking. Very unusual for him. I had to go up to the fence and undo a section and dig away some earth for him to get back in. After we came inside, Titus laid on the floor as he cooled down from his adventure. Later, we noticed blood drops on the floor and discovered that Titus had a wound. Daddy drove him into see Dr. G and she said he has to go back for stitches in the morning on his rear.
And she and Daddy think that an animal bit or scratched him! Maybe he was barking at the fence because he was scared? or hurt? We love him so much and hope he heals quickly!
