North and South.... in less than 48 hours

On Wednesday we called Gramma to say "hi" and she said, "Why don't you come up and visit!"  We'd been thinking about it and decided to pack up and head north.  Jalaine came over to visit and played with you while I loaded the car (so sweet of her), and Titus and Cookie played outside.  You slept the entire way north & when we got to Gramma's house you visited with Gramma, Uncle Jon, & Auntie Jane while they had a St. Patrick's Day dinner.  

In the middle of the night, you decided you weren't going to sleep in the pack n play, and ended up sleeping with me.  The next morning, you, Titus, and I took a walk down to visit Donna and Richard.  Bella kept wanting to see you up close, and Sofia played with you downstairs, while Titus explored the yard.  

We love visiting them soooooo much!  After you took a long nap, Gramma and I took you shopping for a bit & then hung out at her house for the evening.  Gramma helped you email Uncle Jon & he is impressed with your typing skills and top secret messages.

We still haven't figured out the code to crack your emails... maybe in time you'll share.  Last night, you ended up in bed with me again... and you snuggled with Gramma in the morning.  She loves you more than you can imagine!  You have really picked up your crawling in the past week.  Today you were moving around on the carpet and trying to grab the cords on the lamps... 

You also crawled right under Gramma's dining room table and tried to pull yourself up on the table's leg and the chairs.  Are you ready to try rock climbing and mountaineering yet?  

Franny loved being near you and watched you play... and even gave you kisses! After we got back home today, we ate lunch, you napped, and then we went grocery shopping with Daddy (our new Friday night routine.)  You sat in the fancy Safeway's shopping cart chair & like the view of the aisles and people.  There's a lot to see at the grocery store... and in the world!  We love you Alexander!
