Nature extravaganza
Since your brother was feeling better today we all went outside for a while to breathe the sweet smelling air, to wander and look at the trees, and to listen to life.
You reached out and grabbed a branch and we examined the limb to see how many inches of growth were on the branches this year.
And, there were so many robins and even a blue jay flying back and forth... and the fruit trees are changing... I think we have a cherry tree that may actually produce this year. Hooray! You touched the fir trees and we went over to the three huge evergreens and looked up into their branches. What tall trees! You get to decide which tree you want a fort in someday. Daddy said he'll build you one.
Titus seemed to be 'more with it' and less groggy too... and he laid in the grass next to us while we waited for friends to come over. I think he enjoyed just being out in the sunshine with us. Maggie and Sage kept barking at him along the fenceline (I think they weren't sure what to think of his fancy head collar.) After our nature extravaganza, we hung out with Stacey and Sarah for a while, and after they left... you and I took a long nap together on the couch. So nice.
