Our weekend

Today we took our first swim class together.  The idea is to just get you used to being in the water... and later we'll take a skills class.  Your little swim trunks are hanging next to Daddy's as they both dry.  Too cute!

We also had Wes, Jenni, and Coen over for dinner.  They just moved down here from Bellevue and we're excited to now call them friends.  Titus will even have a new friend... Lily the dog!

Did you know that when you get super excited, you lift your arms up, make the face above, and start to breathe fast.  When I called the other day when you and Daddy were hanging out, I talked to you on the phone and I could hear your breathing.   Wait til you start talking actual words!

 

This morning we played upstairs and you pulled yourself to your knees again.  

  

You reach for toys, and sometimes throw them out of your reach. 

  

  

  

You are such a happy boy and are sooooo alert!

  

You are super strong.  Look at the toy you chose to 'chew' on today!

  

You tested our your rocking horse again today and smiled!

  

Lately you help me cook in the kitchen.  Sometimes when you don't want to be on your belly you let us know.  Other times, you grab onto drawer handles and play with cupboards and your high chair's legs.

 You're also using your spoon to help you eat.  The goal is to get the spoon end in your mouth versus gagging yourself with the handle.  We're not sure if you enjoy being in your high chair to eat... you get fussy!  But if you have the whisk or are drinking from your cup, you're 100% content.

Daddy plays with you so much.  He's such a fantastic father and husband.  He even helped you get to Titus' rawhides and let you taste one.  Yeck!

 

 

We are so blessed to have each other!  We love you!
