Your first trip to the OCEAN!

A couple weeks ago, Erin invited us to visit for the day while they are staying at her Great Uncle's beach house.  Scott had to work in New York... and we missed him.  The drive out to the coast was relaxing and beautiful.  You slept the entire way there... and had energy to crawl around and play with Drew once we arrived.  After you two boys napped, Erin, Daddy, and I took you fellas down to the beach... 

Daddy dipped your feet in the ocean for the first time ever!  

When he put your feet in the waves, you immediately drew them up to your chest and let him know you weren't too happy to get them cold and sandy.  

 

We also took a short walk on the beach and then went up to the house to relax.  

 You fell asleep with Daddy on the chair, and Mommy even closed her eyes for a few minutes.  You and Drew are so cute together.  

 At one point, you and he were playing with the baby wipe container.  Drew would pull it towards him and then you would pull it back your way.  You guys are great at sharing!  

 We headed home around dinner time and by the time we were pulling into Portland, you started to lose your sh*t 

 and cried.  I hopped in the backseat to try to calm you down, but you wanted bed and let us know that.  When we finally arrived around 9 pm, you had a quick dinner of rice cereal, and turkey with vegetables.  Then you had some milk and immediately fell asleep.  It was a fun adventure!
