Swimming!

Today we started a new swim class at a new club and LOVED it!  Daddy was in the water with you this week, and next week I will swim with you. We are impressed with the instructor and the people skills she has.  We also bought you a real swim diaper with fishies on it... and you are sooooo adorable!  

You love the water and Skyler (our instructor) said you are one of the happiest babies she's seen in a long time.  At first, you tried to swim while chewing on your fingers... and soon you were using both hands to splash around in the water. 

 You and your new friend Lillian were the only kids in the pool and the lesson felt very private.  You practiced getting into the pool, kicked a bit, and had a blast with Daddy.  Sunday mornings are a fantastic time for us to go have family time at the pool.  I love how there's a bench for us to watch you from at the poolside, while you are in the water. What fun to see and hear you in action!  And, today was the very first time you went underwater... actually, Daddy swam you under twice!  What special family time together!
