Since moving down here and since Alex was born, we haven't done too much exploring in the land of the big city of Portland and surrounding areas... except for the smaller towns and wilderness areas. So today, Alex and I crossed state lines and got an errand done. As we popped in and out of stores, I could only begin to imagine what he was seeing and thinking. Bright lights, displays, people's faces, elevators, smells of Auntie Anne's Pretzels (YUM!) Didn't get one, but boy I sure wanted one!!!! Alexander and I definitely agree that we enjoy excursions to places that have covered parking spots. And I finally see, now that the rainy season is here, how nice it is to finally be able to park a car in our garage. It makes things so much nicer! This is our first house that Steve and I have been able to do that in (thank you shipping container!) A couple days ago, Alexander totally laughed at me as I shrieked in the crazy rain going from a store to the car... but not today! He's also been totally cracking up when he looks at Titus. Not sure if I've mentioned that before. It's really adorable to watch him watch Titus. And, Alexander likes to 'make out' with people's faces now & grab necklaces and hair. Another thing to be happy about = shorter hair for Mommy.
