A LOVE NOTE FROM GRAMMA...
I was thrilled when your Mommy told me that you were coming up for a couple of days of snuggling and laughing with Uncle Jon, Franny and me. Uncle Jon fixed us a delicious pot roast when Erin and Drew came over to play for the evening. The next day I had to go to school, but your mommy brought you up for a little visit in the afternoon. Everyone who saw you at school said, "What a handsome boy!" I laughed when I saw you sitting in the $1,000,000 chair in my classroom. It was just about a perfect fit! That night we went to the Cheesecake Factory. It was pouring down rain, and we had to walk a long ways in the rain to find the secret way to get your stroller into the restaurant. (a.k.a. 'the stroller ramp') Then the lady at the desk had the nerve to ask us to take you out of your stroller before she took us to the table. Your mom said, "No way!" So you sat next to us all cozy comfy in your stroller while your Mom, Uncle Jon and I enjoyed our dinner. You are alway soooo good when we take you out and about! As we were walking by the coats in Macy's you told us to give you your bottle....right then and there! Your mom said, "Oh! He usually doesn't like it unless it's warm....he must be very thirsty!" Of course we HAD to stop in the baby department before we left the store...because I just knew that a special outfit was waiting for you down there. As soon as we got back home we put on our nice cozy jammies, and you read your first issue of TIME magazine. You looked at the pages so intensely that we are convinced that you were giving serious thought as to how to make the world a more peaceful and happy place. You are getting very good at turning the pages too...in fact I think that the 'ruffled effect' you left in my books is pretty fancy. You had us all giggling at the way you roared with laughter every time you looked at Titus playing with Franny's toy. You are such fun to be around!!! What a joy you are to me...I love you sooooo much! Thursday I decided that I would stay home and PLAY with you and you helped Franny and Titus fold the laundry so we had more time to snuggle. I love to feed you, and we laugh when you make such funny noises while you eat. I just LOVE our conversations.....you are definitely expressing your opinions nowadays! My opinion is....that you are a very special gift from God....and sent to us to make every day more beautiful!
