Yesterday Alex took his first plane ride! Uncle Jon got up early to take us all to the airport & was so sweet to get us a smart cart to carry our luggage to the United check in counter. The airport wasn't even busy... surprising! We checked in and soon were off to the security checkpoint. Alex sat on Mommy's hip and Daddy took care of the stroller which we brought on the plane to have for the transfer of planes in Chicago. Alex, you were totally quiet on the plane and ate, played with your red hippo toy from Liz & Alison, and napped on and off. We watched the movie "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" and actually liked it! Our plane landed at O'hare aiport just 25 minutes before our next plane was to depart. Daddy waited for your stroller to be delivered from the plane, but it never came! After we learned it was going to be transferred to the next plane, Daddy and I hustled our buns over to the other gate. By the time we arrived, people were boarding & I was hot and sweating! Daddy talked to the flight attendants and they tracked down our stroller. Phew! On the flight from Chicago to Buffalo, you were a little fussy but soon took a nice long snooze. When we landed you woke up and got to see Grandma Elle and Gramps at the airport. We waited for the luggage but it never came. Bummer! In all, it was a FANTASTIC travel day with you. We can't wait to explore more of the world with you!
