Buffalo: Day 1

Well, our little Alexander definitely had a hard time adjusting to being in a new state... Around midnight (9 pm our time) we started to put him to bed and he lost it.  Was it the dramamine Mommy took for the plane ride?  Teething?  Ear troubles from flying?  New environment?  Travel?  Whatever it was, we sure felt bad for him.  As he cried, we toured Grandma & Gramps' house and around 3 a.m., Alexander finally fell asleep.  Poor little guy!  Uncle Mike had invited us all to go to church with them and their friends... instead of going with them Steve and I decided to sleep in from the night before's late night tears.

On Sunday, our luggage still had not arrived so Daddy called United several times to check the status of the bags.  Every time he called, he was told "they will be on the next flight".  Mommy needed her prescription so the three of us took a trip the drug store to get a few pills, some socks and baby supplies for you, and deodorant so we wouldn't scare everyone around us.  Our next stop was to Uncle Mike's house to meet him, Aunt Maria, & Cousin Sophia.  Sophia absolutely fell in love with you Alex.  She sat on the floor and hugged you.  Read to you and invited you to sit in her new chair she got from her grandparents.  When I went to take you to feed, Sophia started crying because I was taking away her baby... YOU!  Uncle Mike, Aunt Maria, and Sophia love you soooo much, and we love them soooo much!  That night we all had dinner together and you ate veggies and fruits that Grandma Elle bought for you.  After we all spent time together, we said goodnight and you went to sleep around 1 a.m. and we all slept in til 11 o'clock Monday morning!
