Right now, Steve's putting together Alexander's first Christmas toy that requires assembly... a rocking horse from Grandma Elle and Gramps. By now Steve's a pro after getting things set up for our boy's arrival last July. It's funny... both Gramma and Grandma & Gramps had the same idea for Christmas for Alex. He got two rocking horses... but they are totally different. Gramma's is an incredibly cute & soft black rocking horse on a rocking platform, and when his ear's squeezed- moves his head, tail, and neighs. And the one from Grandma and Gramps is wooden and has a beautiful painted face with rails. What a lucky boy Alexander is! This evening Alexander watched us as we re-organized all his books, toys, and stuffed animals, and the upstairs and downstairs of the house. Someday he'll be helping us do it too! As of now, the pack n' play is our toy bin... who would've thought. The mesh sides make it easy to see what's inside. Alexander's favorite thing to play with is Steve... we were waving at Daddy from Alex's bedroom window today & when Steve got close enough for Alex to recognize him, Alex starting smiling and making noises like crazy. He sure loves his Daddy... and we sure love our little monkey!
