"Heading" into uncharted waters

Yesterday we went back to the physical therapy office for a reassessment for Sierra's noggin.  For many months, she had a misshapen head and our doctor was concerned about the flatness along the back.  To make a long and frustrating experience short... we have now found an amazing new therapist who has recommended Sierra get fit for an cranial band.  Months ago I asked our original p.t. person about one and she said we didn't need it.  Well, with our doctor's recent exam of Sierra, we now have a second referral and new therapist- and we are going to get a cranial band.  Here's a link to see what it's all about

We are thrilled to do whatever is recommended for our kids.  We love them and will do anything they need.  What is not thrilling is knowing that we could/should (taboo words) have had her in a helmet months ago.  Grrrr.  Oh well.  Today is all we have, right? Right!

The plan is to help her head shape into a more rounded area on the back, and to help her neck muscles loosen a bit.  I'm wondering if we will do physical therapy with it.  Good thing is that the therapist said Sierra has good range of motion.

We are happy that Sierra is a happy little girl!  Let the adventure begin!
