Little buddy... why do you wake up so early these days? Is your big growth spurt at a pause? You've been going to bed even later, in hopes you'll sleep in a bit... but today you were up at 6 a.m. again. You walked right into our room and played for a while and then got us all up. After a very early breakfast (which you finished on the front porch)...

... We headed to the zoo! We saw lots of animals and you really enjoyed seeing everything. I think last time we were there was in the fall... what a different experience it was for the both us to be there today. We saw penguins, polar bears, elephants, giraffes, other African animals that I can't remember the names of, and so much more.

"Va Va" ... it's a waterfall!
Watching a man repair the wild dogs' habitat. We did get to see the dogs next door too, they have very large ears and kept checking you out at the glass.
We even watched a zoo keeper feed a HUGE sea lion! What a great time we had... and you almost made it home without falling asleep.
