Doctor x 2

An early start to our day together! We left the house before 8 a.m. to go to your first dentist's appointment.  We could have had your teeth cleaned, but decided to instead have quick visit and teeth-check/peek by the doctor instead.  In January, you'll have your teeth cleaned and will get x-rays.  Dr. Pam is so nice and we learned quite a bit!  She said you can keep your plug til you're 4 years old if you want, and recommended that Daddy and I help you potty train OR go through pacifier withdrawal... one at a time, versus both at once.  Soooo, since you're always talking about the potty and having to "go"... we'll stick with that and you can keep the plug during nap and bed time, util you are ready to give it up.  The doctor also said that when children have a pacifier taken away before they are ready, then that's when kids turn to sucking their thumbs.  Ah ha!  It all makes sense!  Good to know!  ....  Our next stop was to the doctor in town.  You have had a fever for a few days and since Owen has strep, we had you checked out.  You are in the clear and probably caught a little bug.  You did awesome at both doctor's appointments today.  And you were sweet to share a sticker you got and put it on the baby (Mommy's belly).  Later today we will go buy you a replacement pool for the yard.  In the fall, the old one blew away and shattered into pieces along the fence line.  It's a beautiful sunny warm day today!

 I think we should buy some stones like this for our firepit!
