Sunny Saturday!

What a fun day!  The sun was out and it was warm enough to be outside in t-shirts and shorts.  SWEET!  Also, we have no commitments this weekend because swimming class is canceled for Mother's Day... and more fun news... Daddy's taking Monday off to spend extra special time with us!  HOORAY!

What did we all do today?

-Daddy and I both went for our Saturday massages

-You took three naps and also hung out with Daddy in the garage while he put together Adirondack chairs he bought for the front porch.

 

The chairs are super comfy and 'complete' the look!  Landscaping and gardens come later...

-We all wandered outside several times today to feel the sunshine on our skin.  Mt. Hood was covered with what look like fresh snow.  Love that you are growing up here!
-Mommy hopped on the tractor and mowed the upper part of the property, and after dinner, Daddy did the rest with the riding lawnmower
-You crawled on the deck for the first time this afternoon... not sure what you thought of it because you started to cry

-We also bought plane tickets for the three of us to visit Ruth in Colorado in August (I can't wait for you to meet her!)
-Julie, Todd, Liam, Matthew, and their dogs were going to come over for dinner and a campfire tonight, but instead are going to come next weekend since Julie hurt her neck.  Ouch!

-Now you're alseep in your bed and are acting like you're feeling better... you took a bath earlier and you just have a runny nose.

Tomorrow will be our first Mother's Day together (with you outside the womb).  I LOVE LOVE LOVE being your Mom Alexander... and love you more than you will ever imagine! XOXOXO
