Week in review

You are soooo close to walking on your own.  Each day, you take more and more steps and are more adventurous!  For the past few days, we've been out on the back deck when Daddy arrives home from work.  When his car hits the gravel and I say, "Daddy's home!", both you and Titus get super excited.  Titus hops over the baby barrier and runs to the gate and you start to screech with happiness.  Daddy can hear you as he opens the gate, and he answers back to you.  You smile like crazy!

Last weekend we went to "Party in the Field" to celebrate Brynn and Owen's birthdays... look at the sign below.  Cute!

And this week, we went to the doctor for your 1 year check up and here are your stats:  

32 in. long and you weigh 23 pounds/10 oz.  

You are a tall little boy!

You are also working on feeding yourself... sometimes with a spoon.  One of your favorite foods is tilapia... yummy!  You're enjoying scrambled eggs with cheese for breakfast, and liked asparagus with your dinner last night.

Yesterday, Owen came over to play and you had fun sharing your toys.  Think of all the fun times ahead!  And, your water table from Gramps and Grandma Elle is super cool.  We sit on the back deck almost every day and you play in the water, and drop your toys off the deck!  Fun fun!

Today we will have another rest day and tomorrow we will journey out and run errands... and in just a week, we'll all be off to visit Ruth in Colorado.  Hooray!
