Your rockin' Daddy took a day off from work to hang with you today. This morning you slept til 8:45.... a bonus for Daddy to sleep in on a day off! A tired boy you were! Mommy was gone for a few hours at the doctor's, checking up on your sister, and while gone, you guys played outside, had lunch, and then we all played after we woke you up from your nap.
Dr. H and Mommy talked and we are tentatively planning on inducing labor the week of September 19th because your sister is already about 7 pounds. You were 8 pounds 12 ounces when you were born... and the doctor said that Sierra may be bigger because she's the second baby. Daddy is 6'2 and Mommy is over 5'11 = longer/bigger babies. So, that means that in 17 days Sierra will be here... unless she decides to come earlier. Mommy's body is getting ready for her arrival with contractions and dilation. The human body is amazing! And this week Mommy is very puffy... lots of water in my body. I feel like a sausage!
Here are some FUN shots from your day with Daddy. You grabbed a paint brush, filled a measuring cup with water, and painted the back of the house this morning. Sweet!

For our family beach adventure this evening... we went down to the Columbia River (just 15 minutes away) and you played in the sand and had a fantastic time! Daddy carried a camp chair for Mommy and set it up on the beach so Mommy could be comfortable. So sweet of him!
