Thursday happenings...

After playtime outside, followed by a bath,

we drove to town to meet Jen, Owen, and Brynn for storytime at the library.  You had zero interest in being in their story room so after some tears and crying we toured the library and later took a walk around the block with Brynn.  When storytime was over, Owen and Jen met up with us and we all took a walk again.  Jen knew the owner of the local hardware store and he showed you kids how the forklift works and even lifted Brynn up into the air on it.  WOW!  Then we were invited in through the back door of the store to go visit their cat.  You were more interested in the 30 gallon paint buckets.  Something that surprised me today was how you really wanted to hold Brynn, Jen, and Owen's hands.  You are such a loving boy!

On the way home, you pointed to the park and used your sounds to let me know you wanted to play... so we took a five minute stop at the park to slide.  Your buns got soaked so we headed home for some lunch and to warm up.  A fun and busy morning!
