ANOTHER snow day

No power?  No problem!  Lights flickered on and off yesterday afternoon, and around 11 pm we lost power completely.  The foot plus of snow was heavy, meaning that branches and trees along the river road were snapping and falling onto the power lines.  Daddy stayed home today... hooked up the generator at 5 a.m., made us a fire in the woodstove and had an admin day of work.  I wasn't feeling well due to...
your little brother or sister.  Daddy told me to use the hot water up to shower so I'd feel better.  Good idea!  I felt better after that.  Daddy plowed the neighbor's drive tonight, and is out plowing our gravel road too.  He also plowed down to the intersection.  That made it possible for people to at least get up to the cul de sac.  Nice Daddy!

Here are some pictures from our adventures today.

Notice the red glove Daddy is wearing.  You INSIST he put it on (or the oven mitts) and then you are happy.  What is up with that son?  Daddy doesn't seem to really refuse to do it.  I like to call him Michael Jackson wanna be!

We LOVE the generator.  Daddy got it through his work award points  Sweet!

 Making toast with Mommy!

Daddy getting the milk out of the outdoor fridge (deck covered with snow!)

You fell asleep in my arms like you used to when you were a baby.  I knocked on the wall to get Daddy to come in and take our picture.  My knocking also made Titus think there was someone at the front door... so he barked and barked.  You smiled and fell back asleep.  Awwww.    And tonight, we cuddled in your big boy bed.  Love it!
Titus is happy we kept the chair we almost got rid of when we moved.

It looks like Titus has a cigar.

Rootbeer popsicles are tasty... I'm not sure if you liked it when Mommy nibbled on it too.
