Four fun days!
On Thursday, we met up with Jenni and Coen for a while. We walked and played at the park near their house, and you boys crawled around on the grass together. Coen is so smiley and so cute!
Mommy and you hit Trader Joe's for some "Alex" food shopping. We walked out with two bags of food for $28. Now you're stocked up on healthy snacks. Coen suggested we make some turkey stuffing for you to eat too. We ended up blending it with spaghetti sauce until you learn to chew it up. Tasty stuff!
On Friday afternoon, you, Daddy, Titus, and Mommy headed up to Gramma and Uncle Jon's house. Our mission: Drew's 1st birthday party.
You stayed up pretty late and partied, so the next morning you had a bath. We also took a family walk around the block and stopped to visit Richard. You smiled at him. Just wait til you can say "hello"!
You thought it would be a blast to show Daddy how you climb up and down the stairs and doggie ramp. He was surprised! After a bath and breakfast, Gramma, Daddy, you, and I headed over to Seattle for Drew's 1st birthday party! You had the best time with your best friend... and Grana Frana gave you both "Best Friends" t-shirts that have your and Drew's name on them under the picture. Way too cute! Love it!

After the party, you took a nap on Gramma, and Daddy and I had a hot date at University Village. You also played with Uncle Jon! Mommy and Daddy did some shopping and when we came home, you ate a snack and eventually fell asleep on me. Daddy watched TV with Titus, Uncle Jon met up with some friends, and Gramma and Mommy stayed up til midnight. WAY later than we usually stay up!
Uncle Jon snapped this picture of you. You make the funniest faces! And you have the BEST time with him. He and Daddy make you smile like crazy!
Sunday morning we hung out with our family for a bit, and then stopped by to see Donna. She brought us tasty strawberries the day before too. You also got to see Kelly. Nick and Sofia weren't there, but maybe next time you'll see them. Then we headed home. We stopped at a rest stop along the way and you had lunch. Your booster chair attached perfectly to the picnic table... score! We'll be taking that with us on our road trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park, Lake Tahoe, and Yosmite National Park. We are so excited to camp with you, for almost 2 weeks! Titus is going to hang out with Uncle Jon during that vacation. And soon after we get back, Grandma Elle and Gramps are going to come visit. Fun times today, and fun times ahead!
