This past week...

I can't believe it's been almost a week since the last entry.  So, here are a bunch of pictures shot over the last six days... in random order.  I'll try to write a little bit about most shots.  It will probably seem a little choppy...  cause I'm tired and I want to get caught up with all these pictures.  Enjoy!

We dug up some seedlings that had popped up around the property in the last year and moved them near the fire pit.  Now we just need to make sure Daddy doesn't mow over them with the tractor.
The trees in the background, in the shot below, were planted just a couple years ago... the have already grown quite a bit.

When we went to Target last week, Alexander had to have the green net.  He's been filling it with dirt and saying, "I use fertilizer", as he travels around the property.  I think he's saying that because our neighbor/friend, Boyd, has been spraying his acreage lately.  It's amazing what Alex picks up on!

Sierra loves you so much Alexander.  She ALWAYS laughs and squeals with delight when she sees you!
Little Sierra in the rubber ducky bathtub.  She is getting closer and closer to sitting up on her own.  Look at you cutie pie!

Our faithful and sweet friend Titus... we love you bud bud!
I think the three of us were watching a video on youtube, "Rain Rain Go Away"
 Outdoor explorations...
Titus follows us around and often carries a ball in his mouth... wanting to play.  Then when we try to get the ball from him to throw it, he runs away!  That is his version of playing catch.  I think Daddy is his favorite ball thrower.

Our driveway sure is getting grassy in the middle.  I don't want to use chemicals on the property, so we'll let it be.
On a very chilly day, look at what Alexander wanted to do... wash Mommy's car.  That's so sweet.  He could seriously play all day long with the hose.  Good thing we're on a well and don't pay for water!

Maybe Sierra will like to help him someday soon?
Brother and sister... rolling around and having fun!
Watching another song on the computer... a very mellow version of "Row Row Row Your Boat"
When Sierra was sleeping, Mommy thought it would be funny to make "Spock" hands and send the picture to Daddy.  We both grew up watching Star Trek...
 LIVE LONG AND PROSPER!
 Sweet little one...
For Easter, Grandma Elle and Grandpa Ron sent you check to buy something fun with.  Thanks!  And Gramma Jan sent you these clothes for spring/summer.  Thanks!
On Thursday morning, we woke up to snow!  A surprise gift from God!  Another gift was Daddy taking a day off from work so Mommy could have a day to herself.  Very sweet!

Us ladies went out to buy a couple outfits for me and to the bookstore.  A fun little outing... and in the afternoon I had a massage.  Loved it so much that I signed up for one every month.  Can't wait!
I think I'm keeping this dress and sweater.  Looking for comfy dresses to wear this summer and clothes that will be easy to tailor when I'm back to my right sized body.
 Someone was getting sleepy...
 Dress #2, taken at home...
I went in to take a picture of Steve and Sierra... and opened the curtains.  It was super bright light.
Sorry for making you squint honey!

 Mr. Nearing Three Years Old...
wearing his new shirt from Gramma
Patiently waiting at Sierra's PT appointment.
You seem to like using your brother's old binkies...
On Friday, we took a family walk down the road.
It was super sunny and gorgeous!

Alexander inspected all the reflectors along the road.
 And brought his camera along.
He didn't want to go up the neighbors' road, or to the mailbox.  It was a tough walk for little buddy.  He persevered though and made it all the way down and back up to the house.

As you know, Alex LOVES the shows with Mike Holmes on them.  He is learning a ton about home repair and is a riot.  Alex carries his camera around (our old digital camera that we never use) and pretends that it is a camera like Mike uses.  You can often find Alex looking through the view screen and telling us that he's looking for hot air that's leaking in the house.  What a kick!
Yesterday afternoon, when Alex refused to nap, we headed to the Bonneville Dam to see "where power's made" again.  I think I made the mistake of telling him we were going there as we put him down for a nap.  Ooops!  So it was my fault that he got so excited!

On the way back, we stopped to feed Sierra and found a ballfield to explore.  Beautiful view!
I love how Sierra's expression changes...

And look who came to our house this morning... The Easter Bunny!  Alex told us he wanted the bunny to bring him a lightbulb.  (By the way, he also asked Gramma... who is in Paris... to bring him a vacuum cleaner or a weed wacker as a present.)  Too funny!
Relaxing... he is getting so big!
Sierra and Mommy heading outside to join the boys...

Check out my new dansko boots I got on clearance.  Definitely needed these for where we live.  And they are so comfy... my foot feels better already!  Thanks honey!

Feeling upset... and cute!
And someone else didn't like her baby food...
I agree.  It looks kind of gross
Sierra is starting to drool more and has a little face rash that comes and goes... I think teeth are coming!

 Such a beautiful view...
sometimes I can't believe this is where we live!

Dragging is enormous teddy bear upstairs...

Alexander sat down on him and pretended the bear was holding him.  Super adorable!

Daddy and daughter... ready for an adventure!

Yummmmy Candy!  Good thing Mommy doesn't like Peeps!

Alex wanted to put the grass in his little house.
Perhaps it was insulation?
Wow... I think that's it!  Sweet dreams!
