I was talking with a friend today about the importance of routines and rituals in life.  So true!  And I'm happy to report that our lives are evolving into more routines and patterns.

For the last few nights, Sierra and Alexander have gone to bed between 8 and 9 p.m., and both are sleeping through the night.  I wake up and have to pump... and ta da!  A new record last night.  14 ounces!  Holy moly, that's a lot of milk!
 Can you say 'passed out'?
We all went down to Jen and Owen's house to play this morning.  Again, look at Alex next to Owen.  He is one year younger than his friend and just about as tall!  Wow!
I love seeing the boys together... they are getting closer and closer to playing together vs. parallel play.
You crack up at the dogs... Belle and Guinness
We love Jen so much!  And she sure loves you two!  She has knitted both you kiddos your very own special blankets.  Alex sleeps with his every night, and as soon as you are able, Sierra, you will sleep with yours too!  Love love love!
They have such a beautiful view of the river from their home.  Alexander enjoyed eating his pretzels and looking out at the running water and waves.

Owen is so cute and so fun!

He is a great kazoo player...
I could totally tell what songs he was humming.
Alex wasn't a fan of it though... he said it hurt his ears.
After nap time today, Alex and I played in "daddy's office" a.k.a. downstairs family room.  He pumped up my legs and used the caulk to color my hair.  Hilarious!

I do have to say how much I love having heated floors.  I laid on the floor and was warm.  However, when I did get up, my belly/insides really hurt.  Must be from the c-section and all they moved around.  Crazy!

Look who wanted to wear his big boy underwear?

And look who was sitting on the couch tonight, leaned forward to grab the remote, and then sat back up.  Wow!
And here is the very special blanket Jen made.  Amazing!
Look at the houses and trees!  Incredible!
Oh, and another thing...
this morning Alexander told me the reason he doesn't like swim lessons is because he doesn't want to go underwater (ah ha!), but he said he would like to watch TV under water.  That's funny!

We love you both so much!
