Alex goes shopping...

Beautiful sunrise
(almost time to trim some trees for the view!)
Alex with his "purple window cleaner"
Sierra takes a little snooze... before...
...we continue getting ready for Christmas.
(By the way, we have officially adopted Alex's tree as our better Christmas tree- due to the fact that our big tree seems to be quite dry and droopy.  Possibly because it's trunk was so large that parts of the base had to be chopped off.  I guess we learned not to do that again.)
Alexander's tree, however, looks fabulous!
Shopping for presents down in town at the dollar store.  Alex got to pick whatever he wanted for Uncle Jon, Gramma, and Daddy.  He's had a plan to buy a "ladder" for Uncle Jon and a "carpet cleaner" for Gramma.  Since we know they already have those things, he had to come up with new ideas.
P.S.  Sorry Daddy, all your son wanted to do was put things in the cart for "Uncle Jon" or "Gramma".  So Alex and Sierra will share presents given to you with Mommy.
I tried to push him around in a cart in the store,
but he got mad at me and insisted,
"Alex want to walk!"
He did manage to score a couple toys for himself too.
After we got back home, Alexander added some tinsil.
Fancy stuff buddy!  We're proud for you... nice job!
