Another ZOO day, with Daddy!

"Did you hear Alex?"
"No, I don't think so"
Conversation between Mommy and Daddy changes subject as we lounge in bed this morning.  Maybe fifteen minutes later... Daddy says,
"I think I heard him"
"I don't think so, but open our bedroom door and look"
Daddy opens our door and sees you laying in Titus' doggie bed.  You were probably there for a while, just lounging!  SO cute.  You didn't even hear us approach and were talking to yourself as you laid face down in his bed.

At that moment, Mommy decided that she needed to clean out the 'junk drawer' in the kitchen again, so if you go in there on your own and we don't hear you... then you won't get hurt or into trouble.

After breakfast, we went back to the Zoo today with Daddy!  It was a super day... we saw a huge sea lion and many many animals.  It was warm and sunny, not too hot... just perfect!

You fell asleep on the way home, then Daddy transferred you to your bed... where you napped for an additional five minutes.  Then we watched Caillou together and played outside while Daddy mowed the orchard (the grass was literally 4+ feet tall!)

 You climbed your little ladder to put your feet in the water table.

 Then you said "owie" and looked at your foot.  I think a few days ago you hurt it a little.

 You thought it was soooo funny that you found a plug near your toys and then didn't want to give it back to me.

 Eating a snack and watching Daddy weedwhack...
