What a weekend for all of us!   On Thursday, you woke up from your nap coughing.  And I walked in to find that you had been sick all over yourself.  Gramma called a few minutes later, saying she was almost to town (she came for a long weekend visit.)  So we greeted her in a different way.  You were cuddled up and asleep in my arms in the rocking chair, and she walked in to change the sheets on your bed and to help get things cleaned up.  What a nice Gramma she always is!  Within a couple hours, Mommy was feeling sick and by bedtime, I too was ill.  It was awesome having Gramma and Daddy both here to take care of us.  We laid low while they got us water, cold cloths, and gave us extra special TLC.  We couldn't have asked for more.  By the next morning we were feeling a little better, and you starting running around a bit.  A day later, Gramma was hit by the flu, as well as Daddy.  Hopefully Uncle Jon won't catch it.  We enjoyed our time with Gramma, even if it wasn't what any one of us expected.
You love love love to read!  Now you bring us books and sit right in our lap and are ready to learn about life.  Recently, you're fascinated by the fire hydrant in your Elmo book.  You are also saying many new sounds!  Pretty soon you'll be talking and singing!  WOW!
